Most inference servers read your data when you ask a question. We read it as it arrives and keep it on the GPU, so when you ask, only the question is new. The rest of the product is built around that.
Reading data early lets you build things that react while the data is still moving. A coding agent picks up where it left off after each tool call. A trading desk sees its answers update as the ticks come in. A support bot keeps the whole conversation on the GPU.
Measured, not asserted. We test this against vLLM and SGLang on identical checkpoints, on the same GPUs, in the same run. Every figure is published with the file it came from on the benchmarks page, including the rows where LayerScale is not the fastest.
LayerScale was founded by engineers from Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase. We're a small team and we like it that way. If this is the kind of problem you can't stop thinking about, reach out.
